“Travis is doing great!  He has come into his own and his personality has developed.  We are really enjoying him and his cute little ways.  Every morning at 6:00 am he wakes me up if I am not already awake and keeps at it -pushing the mattress and things until I get up and let him outside.  Come 9:30 pm and he is at it again looking for his evening walk.  He certainly is a persistent little guy who knows what he wants and works to get it.  This dog just loves to play.  He thinks everyone exists to just play with him.  his favorite game even with strangers is “catch me if you can.”  He loves to rough house with me too!  Throwing his paws at me as I push him away.  He really enjoys other dogs and provokes them in a nice way until they will chase him.  With my son’s dog, a beagle, he goes round and round until the both flop.  Travis is a healthy little guy and all his features are perfect.  I love his long hairy coat,  It shines in the sunshine and is so thick.  He gets lots o walks and loves to go on and off his leash.  He is very well behaved on the leash.  He is good with my grandchildren, never has snapped at them, and they like to chase him which he thoroughly enjoys, but he can dart out, through and around stuff faster than you can imagine and he keeps coming back for more.  People are always commenting on how pretty he is  When he walks he prances and his long fur just bounces.  Anyways we are enjoying him and happy that Travis has come into our lives.  Thank-you”

“Tug is the best dog you could ask for - he is coming along beautifully - responds well to training - is as healthy as can be.  We just love him to bits, Linda - you can be assured that we recommend you highly to everyone that asks about him ( and everybody does!!)”

“What a priceless little puppy we have! She hasn’t wakened us for one second since we got her Sleeps through the night every night! We can’t believe it. She has bonded with us so well - - stays by us wherever we are and even comes to us when she hears her name. Pretty smart! She’s sleeping at my feet as we speak. She absolutely LOVES the back yard! She runs and jumps around the lawn like a baby lamb - - frontways, sideways . . . . Loves to smell the flowers (nibble them!) and hide in the shrubs.”

“Our Sadie is almost 6 months old and a real joy.  She is quite a character!  She is very quiet most of the time.  She rarely barks but does let us know what she wants by whining . . . . and this is not too frequently.  The vet is very impressed with her looks and temperament.  She is now housebroken . . . . she would look at the door but not make any noise since she is usually quiet.  If we were not also watching her at that moment, we wouldn’t catch her in time.  We solved the problem by hanging a small bell on the door knob.  Now she rings the bell and we open the door!  Problem solved.  Her appearance is quite striking.  She is quite red in colour and quite furry. . . .

“Hi Linda,

Just to let you know Clancy arrived home safely.  He cried a little in his crate right after we left your house but was fine when we turned onto the highway.  No problem on the ferry ride either.  We are really enjoying him and love him already.  Thanks again for letting us have him . .  We’ll keep you up to date on his progress and will send pictures as he grows.  Take care.”

STORY

September 4, 2008  We got our little bundle of Puppy.

Buddy arrived Via Air North from Lasairs Shelties in Chemainus, BC.

He was so tiny and cute as a button those big black eyes, looking his new Mom and Dad over.

What a JOY he has been for us. We had just lost one of our shelties named Friskie and Buddy helped to fill that empty spot that was in out hearts from losing Friskie.  He has so many of her habits and traits, its almost Eerie.

He sure can tell time especially meal time, boy if I am late feeding them, he gets pretty Bossy with me it’s priceless watching him.

He’s the smallest of our dogs but he figures he’s the biggest, he gets pretty bossy with them.

He loves to play ball, non-stop if you keep throwing it for him, we tire out way before he does.

The rest of our Furry Family (Shelties) accepted him right away and almost mother him, they all run and play together, good for the soul watching these innocent critters having so much fun.

A Big Thank You to Linda for such a handsome, gentle, lovable little guy,  we love him Dearly.
