Shaylin’s Haileys Comet “HAYLEY”
Hailey was our foundation bitch and our second sheltie. She never received her championship but did produce a champion out of her one and only litter. She went to obedience classes but because her trainer was unable to be trained they earned no titles. We miss her daily but fortunately we have a large portrait of her on our wall. We love and miss you Hailey and await the day that we will be together again at the bridge.
Ch. Lasair’s Ebony Lace O’Marpointe “EBONY”
Ebony was Hailey’s daughter. She earned her Canadian Championship and placed third overall in her group. She produced a number of champions from her very limited breedings.
Lasair’s Crystal Gail CD “CHRISSIE”
Chrissie was also Hailey’s daughter and Ebony’s sister. She was my husband’s pride and joy. She received two High in Trials on her way to getting her CD. My husband and Chrissie had so much fun competing, people came just to watch them. Win, lose or draw, Chrissie’s tail never stopped wagging the whole time she was in the ring. She was shown in the conformation ring as a puppy and earned a “Best Puppy in Class” but never carried on with her show career. Chrissie passed to the bridge one month short of her 13th birthday. She is greatly missed in our household, but will never be further than her portrait with her mother that hangs on the wall.
