LASAIR’S CRYSTAL GAIL CD

My husband and his pride an joy, Chrissie.  She received two High in Trials on her way to getting her CD.  My husband and Chrissie always had so much fun in the ring that people would come just to watch them.  Win, lose or draw, Chrissie’s tail never stopped wagging the whole time she was in the ring.  Chrissie was shown in the conformation ring as a puppy and earned a “Best Puppy in Breed” but never carried on with her show career.  Chrissie has now crossed over to Rainbow Bridge to be with her her Mother and Sister.

A sheltie is quick to learn and is always eager to please it’s owner.  This makes them a perfect obedience/performance dog and proves that brains and beauty really can go together.  Here are just a few of our obedience dogs.

CH OTCH LASAIRS CAILEIGH’S

Owned and loved by Maureen and Jason Kitt.  I am so very proud of what they have done with Caileigh and her offspring Fester.  Maureen showed Caileigh to her Championship but it was a hard and trying time as bi-blacks were( and are) not a common colour in shelties.  She has beautiful movement but it seemed many could not get past the colour.  today she holds both her Canadian Championship and her Obedience Trial Championship (OTCH).  Way to go Maureen and Caileigh.  Thank you Maureen and Jason for a job well done.  You guys make me proud.

LASAIR’S MISTAKEN IDENTITY CDX

Owned and loved by Maureen and Jason Kitt.  “Fester” (from the Adams Family), Caileigh’s son carries the Companion Dog Excellence (CDX) title.  Fester is Jason’s obedience dog and the two of them love to work together which can be seen by the smile on Fester’s face.  Fester has a real attitude of getting the job done right in the ring.  Fester achieved High in Trial on the way to his CD title.  We hope to see Fester with his OTCH soon.  Keep up the good work Jason and Fester

CH LASAIRS STOLEN PROMISE CD

Keisha is Maureen and Jason’s third dog from me and they also do obedience.  Keisha is very eager to please and will do almost anything that you ask of her.  She achieved her CD title in a short period of time, but still had to finish her Championship.  Now that she has completed her Championship it is time for Keisha to get back to obedience.  We hope to see her back in the obedience ring soon reaching for her CDX, if we could only get her to retrieve that silly dumb-bell.  Keep it up Keisha.
